The Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure is an important event for Toledo. Supporters and survivors come together to raise funds for people in people in our community.
Toledo resident, Kendra Kasch (a friend of Nicole’s) found a lump three years ago. She didn’t have insurance, and Susan G. Komen paid for her mammogram and then walked her through how to get insurance. She found out she had breast cancer. We’re happy to report Kendra is two-years cancer free thanks to early detection.
There was a huge turnout for today’s race. Thank you, NW Ohio, for supporting Susan G. Komen
